Camino de Paz High School Teacher Published in “Poetry” magazine.

In the January 2020 edition of Poetry magazine, Christopher Phelps, high school math teacher, published his poem, "A Talisman." Poetry has been published in Chicago since 1912. It is one of the leading monthly poetry journals in the English-speaking world.

CdP Students Attend Gun Violence Prevention Day of Action at New Mexico State Capitol Roundhouse.

On February 12th, 2020, 9th and 10th graders from Camino de Paz participated in or observed an event at The Roundhouse hosted by New Mexicans to Prevent Gun Violence. The Camino de Paz students were joined by students from Albuquerque to Santa Cruz. This event was part of a high school humanities and social studies seminar co-taught by Brady McCartney and Yvonne Aivoliotis about the history of guns, gun safety, gun violence, gun rights, and gun policy.

In the Works…..an Updated, Upgraded Classroom Facility and Commercial Kitchen

Phase 1 of our 2,000 sq ft commercial kitchen remodel and classroom expansion has been completed. We are now adding 2,000 sq ft to the milking parlors and student work facilities to accommodate students, teachers and affiliate organizations. With your help these additions will be completed prior to our graduate student’s arrival on July 1, 2026 and our 26th annual hosting the Indigenous Farmers Conference held by TNAFA in August.

Dear Camino de Paz supporters, Just a reminder that we continue to harvest greens from our local, organic farm and create dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese, kefir) and sell these products at the Santa Fe Farmers' Market and local coops during the Covid-19 pandemic.
